International SOS Medical and Rescue Team has received the 2021 Contractor of the Year Award.
Problem
Our client needed efficient and cost-effective health and wellbeing provision for their workforce. It consisted of over 3,000 rotational employees at the site before, during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Solution
The uniqueness of our Medical and Rescue Services Solution in Canada is in the fact that our Rescue Teams are crossed-trained medics and paramedics. They were highly trained and certified to respond and perform fire and emergency rescue on land and offshore. They were also trained and certified to support on-site Medical Professionals at the site clinics. As COVID-19 hit, our response to establish and operate quarantine facilities and execute on-site vaccination was second to none. It came at significantly reduced costs but with high quality and efficiency to the client.
